The Secret Garden flower shop is a full service family owned and operated florist. Our shop has two I.C.P.F. (Illinois Certified Professional Florist) members on staff to better serve you. With over 37 years of combined experience our staff is ready to serve your floral needs.
Our shop is open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

Meet the Owners ~ Michael & Lori Barrett ~ In January of 2010 my husband and I took ownership of the shop. As a florist with a strong passion for floral design, i continue learning, reading, and attending many classes to make my way to expert! I enjoy working with the flowers, the people, the ladies here, and of course my loving husband. Michael is also a designer but spends most of his days in the delivery van delivering Smiles to our customers far and wide!

We guarantee 100% satisfaction on all floral and gift items. We will work with you to come up with a solution to any problem that may arise. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at (217)362-8081. We may issue a replacement, in store credit, or a full or partial refund of your purchase.
We guarantee delivery on the date promised. In the event that the recipient was not at the location where delivery was to take place, we will make every effort to contact them. If we are unable to contact them the day of delivery we will notify you and we will deliver at their earliest convenience.

Sales Tax
Every Internet order you place with us will be charged a sales tax of 9.25%, applied to the amount of the order. This tax rate is based upon the rate our shop is charged, regardless of the destination of your order.
Order Changes
- Please be advised that we are unable to cancel or change any orders already delivered or presently en route to delivery.
- If you find it necessary to cancel or change delivery dates or addresses for any other orders, simply contact us at (217)362-8081
- We are also unable to accept cancellations or change requests via e-mail.
Substitutions
Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.
